Apple Mania?

I have debated for the past few months about whether I should be getting a new Apple laptop or iMac.  Yes, I am finally giving in and converting from PC to Mac.  I have had this dilemma about what type of computer I wanted, and how it will benefit me in my future lifestyle.  Either way, I wanted to display what Steve Jobs and apple has up their sleeves - possibly introducing the new Apple tablet, now known as ipad.  I am not quite sure what the pros of having a tablet computer, I am not sure that I will ever get it.  The rumor on the street or possibly the black market is that they will be releasing this little guy soon, early 2010...

For me, no matter how much Apple begins to market this little one, I will still end up with either a

13 inch MacBook Pro

OR

the new iMac!

Suhweet!

A few updates:
- I'm finally done with my Coro application!  Now all I need to do is wait until February to see if I qualify for an interview or not.
- T-Party & Ray's belated birthday celebration was a huge success.

When People Matter

Making the difference.  One hand at a time. :)

As you all know, recently there has been a terrible disaster affecting the people of Haiti.  The media reports that there is an estimated 250-300 thousand people who have died from this earthquake. [Sidenote: UC Irvine is located on an earthquake fault.]  My condolences definitely go out to all the people who are affected from this event, and I applaud the hundreds of people from different organizations who are coming together to support the island nation of Haiti.  Everything counts.  One simple way is just text "90999" and a donation of $10 will be given to the Red Cross and charged to your cell phone bill.

However, my link above is not talking about supporting Haiti specifically.  The link is for people to support a constant need.  Within the world, there are too many people thinking about ending their lives.  I believe that ONE person can make the difference to stop another person from ending his or her life.  Be the difference.  Thanks.

What he meant is there's a sense that people have lived a significant part of their life together. They've sat down and shared meals and the ups and downs of life.  You really have to have mulled over things with them to become really good friends and there's only so many people you can do that with.  You can have friends because of what you do together or enjoy something together like football or shopping, but they're not as profound friends as those who you love for themselves because of something in their character. And it doesn't matter what you're doing with them, even sitting alone in a room.

Two Thousand Ten

OMGOSH.  I think these TEA-shirts are absolutely adorable!  Incredible.  I need some inspiration for my Tea party that the lovely ladies of 2117 are throwing next week.  We shall see..  Enjoy more pictures of the shirts. :]  Tea-shirt designer Soo Mo Kang.

Speaking of clothing.  The other day I was had a conversation with my roommate Jo about how we sometimes felt that we couldn't buy too many obnoxiously bright pieces of clothing because they would take away our mature essence.  I wonder if other people ever feel this way.  For example, this summer in New York City, I was browsing at the only Uniqulo located in the U.S. and they had millions of pairs of BRIGHT jeans in blues, purples, greens, yellows, reds, etc.  I was so tempted to buy one because the price was reasonable and the color was extremely unique and purely wonderful.  BUT, what is the last thought that lingers in my mind... "I can't wear these pants, what if I get passed off as an immature girls" resulting in me with no brightly colored pants.

Oy vey.  I am going to dress my age.  Right Jo?
I will be taking advantage of my youthfulness and dress with risk! mwhahaha.  You only live once, LIVE IT UP!

Serendipity

Fun, very forgetful good night with Jo.  Did every UCI student besides me and Jo know that we had a volleyball game going on at the Bren Events Center?  I hope not because I swear I am very prideful of my school :)  If you wanna hear about the parking boy, feel free to ask.

By one point in my life, I want to make sure that all my fantasies become reality ~ living in NYC with a view of one of the two rivers & having a tree house full of magic for my family.  A girl can dream.
